The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites you to workshops for adults accompanying the exhibition "The Female Question 1550–2025."

The theme of our meeting will be agency. We will look for works in the exhibition that openly or covertly tell the story of regaining control over one's own destiny. We will examine how the belief in the possibility of creating reality manifests itself in works of art, as well as reflections on the difficult relationship between dependence and independence. Together, we will try to "decode" the meanings encoded in the artists' works. We will consider the extent to which these historical and contemporary issues are relevant to us today and how we can translate these observations into our own practical tools for action.

What will we do?

In the second part of the meeting, we will move on to action by creating our own collage vision boards (visual maps of goals). We will precede the artistic process with a brief reflection on what we are striving for and how we want to shape the reality around us. We will learn how to work with this tool and how visualizing our goals can support us in our everyday lives. The result of the workshop will be personal maps that will help us not lose sight of what is important to us.
