The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites you to a guided tour with audio description of the exhibition “Piniak Przemysław. It Went to the Heels.” This exhibition features the work of the artist, who passed away in 2025, and who created futuristic visions and stories, illustrating them through installations, paintings, and radio plays. Key themes in Piniak’s work included social exclusion and the search for new approaches to interpersonal communication. During the tour, we’ll discuss the urban space—which was important to the artist—and its unusual inhabitants. Together, we’ll examine everyday phenomena from an unusual perspective. Our guides will be pigeons, ghosts, and other urban outsiders.

We are organizing this event as part of the series “What Is Not Seen in Art?”, which is open to everyone but designed primarily with the needs of people with visual impairments in mind. Detailed audio descriptions and the use of the sense of touch allow participants to experience the works presented in the exhibition. We invite everyone interested in this way of experiencing art to join us.

Presenter’s biography:

Mikołaj Brzozowski – MSN educator and one half of the osesi collective. He focuses on literary outreach and collaboration with diverse local communities. Co-editor of the publication "Poetry to Feel. A Collection of Poems and Exercises”—a volume of poems and a toolkit for educational activities using contemporary poetry. He is a student of cultural studies at the University of Warsaw.

Anna Zdzieborska—art historian and educator. At MSN, she focuses on the accessibility of the educational program and exhibitions. She develops a program of educational events tailored to the diverse needs of the public and is responsible for creating materials that ensure the accessibility of exhibitions, such as audio descriptions, tactile graphics, easy-to-read and easy-to-understand texts, and translations into Polish Sign Language (PJM). She is the coordinator of the Bogna Olszewska Scholarship.
