Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom
The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw cordially invites you to guided tours of its current exhibitions. During these sessions, members of the Modern Seniors Club will share their reflections and stories about the works on display.
The club has been active at the Museum for several years, and its members are people who not only follow the world of contemporary art with enthusiasm but also actively participate in the city’s cultural life.
The meetings have an open format—participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussions, ask questions, and share their insights. This is a unique opportunity to view art from a different perspective through intergenerational dialogue and the exchange of experiences. The guided tours are not only a form of education but also a space for shared reflection on art and its role in everyday life.

I like to speak from the perspective of a volunteer, because that gives me more freedom in shaping the narrative. Sometimes I talk about the author, and sometimes about their work. Other times, I discuss technique or craft. I have time to connect with the audience—I hear interesting comments, and I enjoy their questions. Sometimes we enrich the story with our own experiences or family histories. Such encounters with people and art are revealing and invigorating.
