Tell me a story! (7–12 years old)

In the first part of the workshop, we will look at the works in Nadia Markiewicz's exhibition and weave our own stories about them—mysterious, bizarre, and fascinating. We will consider what makes a story interesting, what stories are hidden in objects, and how we can create our own stories inspired by the works of art in the museum. The artist uses elements from the world of the circus and magic shows in her exhibition—we will play with verbal acrobatics, conjure something out of a hat together, and create unusual costumes for our heroes and heroines. Nadia Markiewicz represents people with disabilities and tells their stories through performances. During the workshop, we want to give a voice to our participants—both younger and older—because we believe that every voice should be heard and listened to.
