Sensory Workshops: Horses and Ponies (Ages 0–3)

We’ll divide our session into two engaging parts:

 

Music and movement: First, we’ll see if any horses are hiding in the museum. Using our sense of hearing, touch, and smell, we’ll investigate whether they’ve left any traces behind. We’ll think about how many sounds we associate with these animals. What does a small horse sound like, and what about a large one? Together, we’ll try to move just like them!

Sensory Art: In the second part, we’ll seek inspiration from a sketch by a Spanish painter. We’ll use our hands and feet to create a completely original, large-format mud drawing.

 

Olga Dyjak – educator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Painter, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In her practice, she explores areas of sensitivity suspended between adulthood and childhood. She collaborates with cultural institutions in Warsaw and runs her own painting workshop for children ages 2 to 16. She is interested in restoring children’s perspectives and sensitive pedagogy.

Watch out for allergens and dirty hands! During the workshop, we’ll be using hay, wheat flour, and rice flour. We strongly encourage you to bring a change of clothes for your little ones.

 

A workshop ticket grants admission to the exhibition for up to 3 hours after the start of the workshop.
