The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites you to the latest installment of its series of events for young art enthusiasts. This time, we invite you to a sensory workshop where we’ll explore spring rainfall and its extraordinary musicality.

Can it rain inside a building? What does a gentle drizzle sound like, and what about a violent downpour? During the workshop, we’ll transform the education room into a space of sound and rhythm. Together, we’ll see if rain can be “played” and if we can feel it without getting our clothes wet.

What will we do?
The program will include many musical elements that will help children understand the dynamics of the world around them. In a safe, creative atmosphere, we will:
  • listen to sounds,
  • stimulate the sense of touch,
  • build closeness and mindfulness in the parent-child relationship.

    We conduct the classes at a calm, flexible pace, fully adapted to the needs, moods, and rhythm of our little participants.

Instructor’s biography:
Olga Dyjak – educator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Painter, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In her practice, she explores areas of sensitivity suspended between maturity and childhood. She collaborates with cultural institutions in Warsaw and runs her own painting workshop for children aged 2 to 16. She is interested in restoring children’s perspectives and sensitive pedagogy.
