A family of small, delicate dandelions is separated from their mother plant when a disaster destroys their home.
Having survived a nuclear explosion, they set out on a cosmic journey in search of a new place to live. Combining extraordinary nature photography with animation, *Dandelions* offers a view of the world from the perspective of creatures that usually remain outside the center of our attention. It is a story of survival, interdependence, and the search for a safe place – even in a world where humans are not the only protagonists.
After the screening, we’ll discuss the agency of non-human creatures, the perspectives of the microcosm and macrocosm, interspecies relationships, and anthropomorphism (or the lack thereof).
