The Eye of the Deaf. Guided tour and workshops in PJM

Join us for a guided tour in Polish Sign Language (PJM) of the exhibition “The Paths of Black People Enter the White Land” as part of the “Eye of the Deaf” series. The exhibition explores Poland’s vibrant relations with Sub-Saharan Africa from 1945 to 1989 and how these were reflected in the art of the Polish People’s Republic. During the tour, we will discuss decolonization, postwar relations between Poland and Africa, the exchange of ideas and people, and artistic inspirations drawn from both cultures. The tour will conclude with a short art activity.

The event in Polish Sign Language (PJM) will be interpreted into spoken Polish to ensure full accessibility for hearing individuals as well.

A tour guide with a portable induction loop is available for the duration of the event. Please let the reception desk know in advance if you require this service. Meet at the designated spot by the main staircase (across from the Auditorium). Enter the Museum from Marszałkowska Street.
