Exhibitions (1-50/326)

It is not established yet when the author purchased his first camera, and the previous researchers' findings came to nothing (i.e. hypotheses). Probably he did not have it during a several-month motorcycle trip to Western Europe (1959/1960) which he documented in a diary and sketchbook. Surely, he used it already during work with "Kenar's school" students in the early 60s, and on the maintained moving-image materials concerning the unveiling of "Żelazne organy" ["Iron Organs"] in 1966 he can be seen with a medium-format camera Flexaret made in Czechoslovakia. Truszczyńska identifies a camera visible on some copies as Yashica Electro 35 GX with 40mm/f 1.7 lens but this model was launched on the market in 1975 so we do not know what camera was used by Hasior earlier. However, Andrzej Matynia gives out - after Marzena Raińska - that a favourite camera, most often accompanying the artist, was a model of Minolta (let's add: unidentified since the end of 70s to the end of 80s). The camera accompanied Hasior and his travels since the mid-60s, and the documentations of exhibitions show not only arrangement manners of subsequent scenes of his art but also a way in which he experienced and participated in artistic events. "Notatniki" ["Notebooks"] collected here are also a walk around exhibitions, e.g. the main exhibition of the 35th Venice Biennale in 1970.
