SHARING OF DIGITAL FILES

The Museum shares graphic and audio/video files held in the following departments: Collection 1, Artist Archives, Filmoteka Muzeum and Polish Archive of Home Films.

As regards files which the MSN holds without the right to sub-license, sharing is possible provided that the applicant obtains and submits consent from the owners of the applicable rights. Where possible, the MSN supports applicants in establishing contact with the owners. The Museum does not act as an intermediary in signing agreements between the parties. The use of any file shared requires a copyright notice containing the name of the copyright owner and acknowledgements (credits) to the Museum of Modern Art.

To place an order, please complete the Sharing Form. The Museum has up to 7 working days to reply. A technical fee is charged on all file sharing, irrespective of how the files are to be used. The fee must be paid via the provide link within 7 days after confirmation of the order. The files will be transferred within 14 working days after the technical fee is paid. For large orders, the lead time may be extended.

Audio-video file – PLN 200

Where the files are used in any printed publications, the applicants are requested to provide two free copies of the publication to the MSN Archives.
