The Way Things Dinge is a durational performance-in-process: a study of mechanisms and dramaturgy of physical laws as a potential source of choreographic matter. The performance asks questions concerning the ontology of subject and object in relation to the performer’s body, and probes the division line between movement impulses that are individual and those that are conditioned by collective mechanisms. The starting point for the choreographic play is The Way Things Go, the canonic work by the Swiss artists Fischli & Weiss.
The artist performed The Way Things Dinge in 2014 at a former MSN exhibition space, the Emilia furniture pavilion.
