Screening of Josef Dabernig's films and meeting with the director

We invite you to an event dedicated to the film work of Austrian artist Josef Dabernig. The meeting with the director will be hosted by Pierre Bal Blanc, curator of the exhibition The Cynics Republic – Plac Defilad. The program includes a screening of Dabernig’s curated selection of films: Lacrimosa (2004), Wisla (1996), Pastry Friday (2022), WARS (2001), Heavy Metal Detox (2019). Shot on 16mm film, these works explore themes of memory, everyday rituals, and interpersonal relationships.
