Freak Show

This is going to be the scariest – and most heartwarming – movie this Halloween!

Halloween night. A group of young artists is preparing an extraordinary performance – a “freak show.” At the invitation of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, they take on the prejudiced tradition of exhibiting “freaks” and turn its rules upside down. They embrace what others fear, challenge prevailing beauty standards, and reveal their bodies without shame – instead, with courage, humor, and pride.

“Freak Show” is a story full of energy, tenderness, and subversive humor about friendship and the power of being together. The film, directed by Łukasz Ronduda and Filip Pawlak, was presented in the Polish Competition at the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival.

The screening will feature Polish subtitles, audio description, closed captions, and a translation into Polish Sign Language (PJM).
