"Film Day" at KINOMUZEUM will showcase Warsaw and its surroundings as a shared food landscape. The first block, featuring the film The Lost Urzecze, will revisit the micro-region along the Vistula River, which for generations supplied the capital and developed its own culture of work, farming, and life along the Vistula. The second segment will combine the films What Grows in the City? and Edible City Warsaw with a discussion on contemporary urban agriculture. We will explore how to reclaim local expertise, protect land for cultivation, and build lasting relationships between the city and its food-producing hinterland, thereby strengthening Warsaw’s food sovereignty.
