November 1–4, 2026, throughout Poland.
November 1–4, 2026, the Polish edition of Palestine Cinema Days—an international festival of Palestinian cinema that brings audiences around the world together each year to explore Palestinian stories, memories, and experiences—will take place for the third time.
This year’s edition of Palestine Cinema Days is once again taking place at a significant moment—marking the 109th anniversary of the signing of the Balfour Declaration (November 2). As part of this global event, over 1,000 screenings will take place worldwide.
The Polish edition will take place in 14 cities across Poland, and the program will feature 12 feature-length and short films, including as many as 7 Polish premieres. This is an opportunity to discover films that rarely make it into Polish distribution—from classics of world cinema, through internationally award-winning documentaries, to the latest short films depicting Palestine from the perspective of its residents.
For decades, Palestinian cinema has been more than just a record of reality. It is a way to preserve memory, tell its own story through its own voice and imagery, and reclaim the right to its own narrative. Today, in the midst of a fragile ceasefire, as the world slowly looks away, we are reminded of how easily Palestine can disappear from the media headlines, while its residents continue to suffer unimaginable losses. At this time, the need for these stories becomes particularly urgent.
Palestine Cinema Days is not only a film festival but also a global act of solidarity with Palestine and Palestinian filmmakers. 1–4 November, we will gather in movie theaters and cultural spaces across Poland to watch films, listen to Palestinian voices, and remind ourselves together that cinema is more than just art—it is presence, memory, a form of resistance, and an act of solidarity.
A detailed program and screening schedule are available on the websites of the cinemas and local partners of the Polish edition of Palestine Cinema Days Poland, as well as on the Facebook event page.
Admission is free for all screenings.
All films are presented with Polish and English subtitles.
