Journey to North Africa and Israel, 1989-1990 (1-50/855)
In November 1989 Libera left for Egypt, Sudan and Israel. Decision was dictated by changes that happened in 1989 - “Culture of gathering” started dissolving, Poland regained independence, so underground and oppositional art seemed unnecesary anymore. Libera wanted to cease his work as an artist. But after several months, in May 1990 he decided to come back to art and took part in Bakunin in Dresden exhibition.
