This time, the participants of the workshop will focus on the phenomenon of synaesthesia.

Synaesthesia is the ability to associate impressions received by various senses, e.g. translating sound experiences into colour. It was also an artistic means of expression and the main creative method for numerous artists, including Vassily Kandinsky or Paul Klee. Focusing on the phenomenon of colour, we will reflect on how artists make use of the potential of colours in their works. A workshop is going to be a good chance to get acquainted with terminology that is needed to analyse a work of art’s form and to learn what synaesthesia is in practice.
