There are lots of places in Warsaw where they ”teach art.”
Young people develop their skills there, make their first aesthetic decisions, meet artists and teachers. Oftentimes, they continue their education at the Academy of Fine Arts. WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION appreciates the role of these oft private initiatives that deal with artistic education.
The Atelier Foundation is a place where over 800 persons participate in workshops every year. People from all age groups meet in 40 sections.
During the open day visitors will be invited to take part in drawing, painting, composition, printmaking or sculpture workshops, consult their portfolios with experts and watch animated films created during stop-motion animation classes. Atelier Foksal's hosts – Teresa Starzec and Andrzej Bielawski – will also talk about their recent activities.
