  • Opening of the three exhibitions

Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is pleased to invite you to a triple opening night: “Zofia Rydet. Record, 1978-1990”, Július Koller, "?" and "Cybernetic Serendipity. Documentation".

”Zofia Rydet. Record, 1978–1990” offers the largest presentation thus exhibited of Zofia Rydet’s monumental photographic project Sociological Record. The artist began the development of the cycle in 1978 and continued almost until her death in 1997.

“?” at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw presents a new appraisal of the work of the Slovak artist Július Koller (1939-2007), an iconic figure in the history of the neo-avant-garde and post-avant-garde. Since the rediscovery of his work in the early 1990s by Slovak artists and intellectuals, his work has been an important inspiration for artists throughout Eastern Europe. Only recently has Koller’s practice received wider recognition from the Western art world, becoming a key reference point for a younger generation of artists worldwide.

"Cybernetic Serendipity", the landmark exhibition curated by Jasia Reichardt in 1968 will be celebrated at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw with a display of documents, installation photographs, press reviews, invitation cards and publications.
