On objects and people. What and how did Zofia Rydet photograph? An inclusive tour of the exhibition
Who is the “main character” in Zofia Rydet's photographs? Can objects say more about us than we can?
Starting with a colloquial definition of photography, we will attempt to discuss why Zofia Rydet photographed people surrounded by objects. We will look at the “Record” and talk about the contemporary meaning of objects and photography.
The meeting will be led by Karolina Szyma, a fourth year ethnology student at the University of Warsaw. She is interested in contemporary cultural phenomena, music and the anthropology of sport.
