The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is pleased to announce lecture no. 2 as part of the Bródno Sculpture Park Flying University.
The lecture will take place by Monika Sosnowska’s Grating sculpture (2009). Tomasz Fudala, curator of the Warsaw in Construction Festival, will talk about the artist’s inspiration with People’s Poland-era architecture, including its “vernacular” manifestations, such as the eponymous tower-block grating designs. The talk will also be an opportunity to discuss the situation of Warsaw’s postwar modernist heritage, a recurring theme of the successive editions of the festival.
