Andrew Norman Wilson: SONE Asset Liquidation Even
SONE is a start-up that helps businesses, producers, and consumers reimagine our current economic situation. It operates on a contract-to-contract basis, promising its investors a return on investment.
The company caters above all for clients from the fields of advertising, business, art and journalism, delivering high-quality, pre-trend stock video clips that concern the sense of uncertainty and discontent in an era of economic instability. They circulate on both the art market and the stock media market, through sites like Getty Images, iStock, Pond 5 and Project Native Informant. SONE is directed by visual artist Andrew Norman Wilson (b. 1983).
The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw hired SONE to prepare a stock video clip that reflects the key themes of the “Bread and Roses” exhibition and the power dynamics that characterizes artworks commissioned by institutions.
During the performative event happening on the occasion of the "Bread and Roses" exhibition the artist will conduct a closeout liquidation, which will mark the termination of SONE and offer the redistribution of its assets.
