Visiting with an audio guide

MSN Warsaw invites you to use our audio guides. You can borrow a device at the reception desk, included in the exhibition ticket price.

Additional information:

• If you are using an audio guide with another person, we encourage you to use the option of attaching two pairs of earphones to one device.
• During the tour, users of audio guides may use earphones provided by us, which are disinfected after each use, but we encourage you to use your own earphones.
• Audio guides can be reserved for groups. Reservations can be made for groups of 6 to 30 people for a specific time slot.

The audio guide to the exhibition In the Very Bowels of Changes: Surrealism and Antifascism draws attention to the most important aspects of the political engagement of artists associated with Surrealism in many countries around the world. We most often define Surrealism as a style of painting whose primary inspiration comes from dreams, fantasies, and magic. But as we follow the audio guide we journey through the exhibition across three continents and discover works created over

more than fifty years, we realize that the Surrealists have always been where the “heart of change” beat. Their art is not an escape into a safe inner world, but a conscious expression of dissent against a hostile reality.

The audio guide for the exhibition Julie Mehretu. Kairos / Spiritual Variations invites you to explore the artist’s work in greater depth through a selection of her pieces. Original commentary by Julie Mehretu and those involved in the exhibition, descriptions of techniques, and excerpts from archival recordings of events create a diverse audio collection that aids in exploring and experiencing the multidimensional nature of Julie Mehretu’s art.
