Statement

With respect to a report published by TV Republika on 22 January 2025, we must point out that it is not true that the book Gender Queer was found in the children’s section of the museum’s bookstore. It was in the section of books for adults. The book is no longer for sale at the bookstore, as the only copy was purchased by the journalist from TV Republika. However, the book is available in wide distribution, at respected bookstores throughout Poland.

The MSN Warsaw bookstore contains hundreds of books on topics such as art, art history, philosophy, sociology, and contemporary culture—including discussions of identity. The book in question was one of them.
