The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw has begun preparations for a gradual reopening: starting with office staff returning to work, all through to opening to the public the exhibition space on the Vistula.

During the reopening process we will have to adhere to the current sanitary requirements, as well as introduce special procedures in order to ensure health and safety of both the Museum staff and visitors.

“The Penumbral Age. Art in the Time of Planetary Change” is set to open in the first half of June 2020. The final decision depends on the epidemic situation in Poland at that time.

We are also working on preparing Zofia and Oskar Hansens’ house in Szumin for visitors.

At the same time, we are continuing with the Museum’s public online program, events accompanying “The Penumbral Age”, and this year’s edition of the WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION festival.
