OPEN CALL: Project ART-Bridge

ART-Bridge: Building bridges between culture and Warsaw's new communities. The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites people with experience of migration from Ukraine and Belarus to participate in a new workshop program. ART-Bridge is a unique opportunity to develop artistic and humanistic passions, gain experience, and co-create an open cultural institution.

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites people with experience of migration from Ukraine and Belarus who are interested in culture, art, and the humanities to participate in the recruitment process for a workshop group at the MMOA.
The ART-Bridge project is a new international initiative of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Its main goal is to develop the Museum as an open institution and to build real bridges between the world of art and the city's new, multicultural communities. The program for which we are conducting this recruitment is at the heart of these activities. It has been designed to give participants, residents of Warsaw with migration experience, a valuable support program and a direct opportunity to develop their own ideas, gain valuable experience, and build a network of contacts in the safe, supportive space of a cultural institution.

WHY?

Many people with migration experience face a lack of visibility and representation in Warsaw's cultural life. Access to the creative community can be difficult. Our goal is to create a community where participants will be able to:
  • develop their artistic, cultural, and educational ideas,
  • consult projects with educators and museum staff,
  • gain experience in cooperation with a cultural institution,
  • build a network of contacts and a platform for exchange and presentation of activities.
What are we inviting you to?
  • To participate in the series of meetings and workshops at the MSN (Warsaw).
  • To get to know the Museum from the inside – how a cultural institution works and what opportunities for cooperation it offers.
  • To a support group where participants will be able to develop their skills, exchange experiences, and plan activities together.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
  • Substantive support from MSN educators and experts.
  • A safe space for meetings and exchange of experiences.
  • An opportunity to develop key competences: language (Polish, English), digital, and social.
  • The opportunity to implement your own ideas for cultural activities with the support of the MSN program department.
  • An important part of the program will be a five-day study trip to a partner organization in Germany (in 2026), fully funded by the European Union.
