Lecture by Yuri Leiderman
Yuri Leiderman will discuss the background and context of the performance Ways to Kill with a Flag, created together with Igor Chatskin in Odesa in 1984. Using this performance as a starting point, he will explore the broader phenomenon of so-called "Odesa conceptualism" in the 1980s and its connections to the better-known "Moscow conceptualism."
The lecture will be held in English.
