In 1936, the people of Palestine rise up against British rule. Yusuf divides his time between Jerusalem and life in the countryside, dreaming of a future free from the turmoil of war.
As the number of Jewish settlers fleeing the wave of anti-Semitism in Europe grows, the Palestinians unite in the greatest act of resistance in the 30-year history of British rule. All sides face an inevitable confrontation. Crucial moments lie ahead for the future of the British Empire and Palestine.
