Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej

Described as a revelation, the feature debut of Emi Buchwald, winner of Polityka's Passports, is one of the most anticipated films of the year – with 10 nominations for the ORŁY Polish Film Awards. It has been compared to the beloved films The Worst Man in the World and Frances Ha.

Starring: Bartłomiej Deklewa, Karolina Rzepa, Izabella Dudziak, and Tymoteusz Rożynek Szczyl, making his big screen debut.

Four siblings entering adulthood try to find their own paths without losing the bonds that connect them.

The youngest, Benek, faces painful rejection from his older brother, Franek, who had been his best friend until now. The boy is also haunted by a mysterious apparition Dusiołek  – who prevents him from falling asleep and causes sudden panic attacks. Franek, who is running away from his family, gets involved in a toxic relationship, gets into trouble with drugs, and sinks deeper and deeper into chaos. His condition worries Nastka, his twin sister, who herself longs for love and stability. The eldest of the siblings, Jana, is working on an art project that is intended to bring solace not only to her younger siblings, but also to herself.

Transport yourself into the world of film with the set design from the movie Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej at KINOMUZEUM

The set design from the film Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej, directed by Emi Buchwald, has been moved to the foyer of KINOMUZEUM.

The set design refers to a characteristic scene from the film, in which the bond between siblings turns into a real experience of closeness.

The heart of this set design space is an igloo, referring to children's need to build safe bases out of blankets.

It is a space designed as a refuge for overstimulated nervous systems. It is meant to evoke associations with the warmth of home: soft textiles, wood, and armchairs that remember shared conversations. The dim lighting, muffled sounds, and omnipresent softness invite you to let go for a moment and forget about all your daily obligations.

The staged space is open to the public until March 22 during cinema opening hours.

The film's set designers are Ewa Mroczkowska and Zo Wilczkowska. The project at KINOMUZEUM was carried out by Zo Wilczkowska.

Organizers: STUDIO MUNKA SFP, KINO ŚWIAT, and KINOMUZEUM
