Join us for a screening followed by a talk by Ola Salwa.

Behind the film “NAZA” are Yuval Abraham—a filmmaker and investigative journalist—and Rachel Szor—a director and cinematographer. Both are among the four creators of “No Other Land” (“No Other Land”), one of the most talked-about documentaries of recent years, which won an Oscar in 2025. The film’s executive producer is Jonathan Glazer—an Oscar winner for “Zone of Interest.”

In “NAZA,” Abraham and Szor focus on people within the Israeli military system and seek to understand not only the consequences of war but also the mechanisms that enable it to be waged. The film is based on interviews with 24 Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers, whose testimonies paint a picture of a system in which decisions affecting the lives of civilians are embedded in military and technological procedures.

“NAZA” is the result of more than three years of journalistic and investigative work. Many of the findings the filmmakers uncovered while working on the film were published on an ongoing basis by “The Guardian,” in collaboration with the Israeli-Palestinian magazine +972 and Local Call.

The film had its world premiere in the main competition at the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Prize.
