Inspired by the biography of legendary table tennis player Marty Reisman, the story is set in 1950s New York. Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet), a shoe salesman from the Lower East Side, sees the marginalized sport as a tool to break free from his imposed life and a path to social visibility.
The film stars Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, who is returning to major roles, and two-time Grammy Award winner Tyler, The Creator.

From February 7, a table tennis table will be available in the cinema space, which was specially commissioned by MSN for a tournament that took place during the opening days of the new Museum building.
