Machine Listening: Environments 12
Ephemera Festival 2025

Ephemera Festival invites you to special audio performance Environments 12 by the Machine Listening collective, well known to Unsound audiences. Joel Stern, James Parker and Sean Dockray will present a new project – a speculative continuation of the cult classic Environments album series from 1969–1979. In this futuristic vision, soundscapes are everywhere: played, synthesized, and managed as elements of a cybernetic ecology. A discussion with the artists will follow the presentation.
