In the face of rising temperatures — of waters, the planet, the atmosphere, and social moods — we aim to examine both small and large acts of resistance. We draw on the wisdom of experiences in confronting oppression, discrimination, erasure, and destruction — of people, animals, and nature. It Will Get Warmer is a story about daily struggle, a training in sensitivity and observation, and a reflection on how our actions — or our inaction and indifference — can shape the world.
This is a five-day theatrical event, where, through a collage of visual and performative experiences, we seek to collectively reconsider the established categories of thinking about rights and divisions that we cling to, even though they no longer respond to the reality around us. Moreover, these categories are rooted in an oppressive tradition of destroying everything that is different or incomprehensible in the name of “progress,” “development,” “defense,” and “security.”
The texts in the performance are in Polish or English. Admission to all events is free, but seating is limited. Participation requires registration via the form.
