I Want Your Sex

Gregg Araki is back! One of the most important figures in American independent cinema, best known for Bad Touch and Doom Generation, has stepped behind the camera on the set of a feature film for the first time in over a decade. I Want Your Sex is perhaps his most accessible film – but that doesn’t mean Araki has lost his edge.

Elliot (Cooper Hoffman) lands a job with the famous artist and provocateur Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde). It quickly becomes clear that Elliot isn’t really supposed to be her assistant, but rather something like a sexual muse who inspires Erika.

I Want Your Sex starts out as a racy comedy, only to turn into a clever and engaging story about the dark side of no-strings-attached relationships – all told in a style that only Araki can pull off.
