FEED is a festival dedicated to visual design from Central and Eastern and Southern Europe, held as part of the activities of the Network Eastern European Design (NEED).
FEED is a presentation of the history and contemporary design from the countries of Central and Eastern and Southern Europe, which is often unknown and underestimated on the international design scene. The festival aims to discover and promote the visual culture of this region.
FEED is also about networking and integrating design events, such as festivals and conferences, taking place in the countries of Eastern Europe. A common platform will enable the development of organisations and the search for methods of acting within the times of political, economic and climate crisis.
This year, the festival takes place in two cities — Kyiv and Warsaw. The program includes a public conference, a series of exhibitions, a meeting of design event organisers, a set of practical workshops, and several networking sessions.
The event brings together organisers and curators, local scene leaders, design journalists, a wide community of designers, and an audience interested in design culture in Kyiv and Warsaw.
