Fag Fighters

In 2007 Karol Radziszewski called into being Fag Fighters, a fictitious fag-gang with pink balaclavas as their trademark (made originally by the artist’s grandmother).

Members of the gang roam the streets and wreak fear on the city, marking their territory with graffiti and committing acts of violence. Fag Fighters embody the spectre of homosexuality haunting the conservative discourse, featuring their image as that of a dangerous and subversive element, posing a deadly threat to traditional values and social order.

This time, the Fag Fighters show up at the museum, infiltrating the collection and exhibition halls with their sensual, corporeal presence.
