The photo shows a small stack of six magazines decorated with abstract graphics on the covers, with the title “eflux index” visible on the top one.
Published by the e-flux platform, the quarterly e-flux index focuses on critical texts about art, culture, architecture, and related phenomena. On the occasion of the launch of e-flux index #7 George MacBeth, Ewa Borysiewicz and Daniel Muzyczuk will discuss the expanded environment for arts publishing and criticism in the current climate and its challenges.

The debate will encompass Daniel’s editorial work guest editing issues of the e-flux journal and the approach he plans to adopt to catalogue publishing at the Muzeum Sztuki, Ewa’s work as the editor of MOST Magazine and a regular critic for publications including e-flux, and George’s work editing the e-flux index and working as a critic. The conversation – framed around the titular question, which paraphrases a slogan printed on a T-shirt worn by singer Charli XCX – will be led by Jagna Lewandowska, curator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
