A mock audience made up of between fifty and two hundred volunteers mingle with the public at the opening of an exhibition. They enter the venue (preferably through an unusual entrance) as a single group, and stay either for a short time or for the entire duration of the opening, taking part in the proceedings: visiting the exhibition, listening to speeches.
