A Cinematic Start to Summer with E.ON Polska
Together with E.ON Polska, we invite you to a unique cinematic celebration of the start of summer featuring the best Polish documentary from the recent 23rd edition of the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival.
We will screen the documentary Candidates for Death, directed by Maciej Cuske, who will be the special guest of the evening and will meet with the audience after the screening.
We have also prepared a limited edition movie poster designed by Krzysztof Gawronkiewicz for event attendees. The posters will be available exclusively to those who attend the event.

For over 15 years, three guys and the father of one of them have been going on vacation together every year to shoot another horror movie in Poland’s extraordinary outdoor settings and mysterious locations. Will their friendship last until the end of the world?
A dozen or so years ago, Maciej took his son and two of his friends on vacation, during which they shot a horror film together. He wanted to get the boys away from their computers. He had no idea at the time that it would turn into one of the greatest adventures of his life and that together they would create not only a unique, but certainly one-of-a-kind horror series titled The Candidates of Death. Today, the boys are nearly 30 years old. They’ve changed a lot, and each of them is searching for his own path.
The Candidates of Death is a chronicle of their cinematic adventures spanning over a dozen years. It is a film about themselves, about growing up, questions, fears, and dreams – and above all, about the power of a long-standing friendship.
