Book at the Museum. Poetry by Aneta Korycińska

The Duży Format Foundation and the Museum of Modern Art invite you to a meeting with Aneta Korycińska (Baba od polskiego) about her poetry collected in the volume ”Czego nie powiem swojej córce”(What I Won't Tell My Daughter) (Duży Format Foundation, 2025).

 

The meeting will be held as part of the "Book at the Museum" series. Magdalena Kasperowicz will talk to the author, and Magdalena Michel will read selected poems.

 

”Czego nie powiem swojej córce” is a volume in which personal experience meets social reflection: motherhood becomes a story about the birth of a new identity, memory, and inherited fear. The author builds tension through brevity, rhythm, repetition, and syntactic "cuts," while the mother-daughter relationship and what remains unsaid between women remain an important theme. An integral part of the book are the author's black-and-white collages, which dialogue with the poems.
