New Works in the MSN Collection

In 2026, using funds from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage derived from the Culture Promotion Fund —a state-administered special-purpose fund—a total of eleven works were acquired for the MSN collection as part of the project “Expansion of the Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw 2026.” These works are as follows:

A monumental sculpture made of gray concrete depicting a human figure with an exposed chest cavity, standing in front of a massive, curved wall with a relief from which a branch of a fruit-bearing tree, carved from wood, emerges.

An image with a light pink background featuring three rows of large, black, printed letters spelling out the Polish words: “NAWRACANIE,” “OSWAJANIE,” and “TRESOWANIE.”

An openwork, arched installation made of thin metal rods stands in the corner of a white room; incorporated into it is an inscription formed from letters spelling out the German phrase “CHRISTUS IST MEIN LEBEN.”
