Dominika Olszowy (b. 1988 in Skwierzyna) is a Polish visual artist, performer, author of installations and scenography. She studied at the Faculty of Intermedia at the University of Arts in Poznań (2009–2012) and at the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2012–2014). Co-founder of Sandra Gallery, the radical hip-hop group Cipedrapskuad, and the moped gang Horsefuckers M.C. Her work draws on the aesthetics of the 1990s, combining realistic threads with confabulation, verging on surrealism. Olszowy softens the seriousness of universal existential reflections in her works with subtle humour and grotesque.
