Warren Niesłuchowski (1946–2019) was one of the most eccentric, charismatic, and yet discreet, figures in the art world. An exhilarating conversationalist, an attentive companion of artists, a polymath, a networker, without status, and a walking biography, he gave up having a home of his own in 2003 and began to live as a permanent guest of others. Homeless by birth and choice, through his practice of radical hospitality forged a transcultural existence in which art and life were no longer distinguishable from one another.
