The Art Mediators Team provides comprehensive support to visitors at every stage of their visit —from helping visitors navigate the building and familiarize themselves with the current offerings, to providing in-depth introductions to the themes of the exhibitions and individual discussions about the works of art.
Scope of Support Provided by Art Mediators
At the information desk located on the ground floor of the building, our team will help you plan a visit tailored to your individual expectations, time constraints, and specific needs, including accessibility accommodations. We will provide comprehensive organizational information, suggest a recommended tour route, introduce available educational materials, and help you navigate the Museum’s spaces.
Art Mediators are also present directly in the exhibition halls, where they share their knowledge and invite visitors to engage in dialogue about the art on display.
Visitors can choose from two types of guided tours:
Micro-narratives—concise, focused stories about selected works of art, serving as an excellent introduction to further independent exploration. The sessions last about 15 minutes and introduce the key themes of a given exhibition as well as details about 2–3 selected works. The events begin on the hour at designated locations—by the panoramic windows on the first and second floors.
Macro-Narratives – a comprehensive introduction to the Museum’s current program, combining a discussion of the exhibitions with a presentation of the building’s architecture. During a walk with a Tour Assistant, you will learn about the thematic concepts of the exhibitions and the unique architectural details of the new building.
The tours begin on the ground floor near the information desk at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and at 2:30 p.m. on weekends. Each tour lasts approximately 50 minutes.
No advance reservation or registration is required to participate in the tours. You’re welcome to join at any time.
