Artist in Process. A Conversation with Ryszard Waśko

In a conversation with Robert Jarosz, Ryszard Waśko will discuss, among other things, his creative journey—which encompasses artistic practice, curating, and organizing the international arts series "Konstrukcja w Procesie" and the Łódź Biennale—as well as his departure from Poland during martial law to London and Berlin, where he continued his own artistic work, curated exhibitions, and organized subsequent editions of "Konstrukcja w Procesie". We will discuss Ryszard Waśko’s tenure as artistic director at P.S.1 in New York and his deep commitment to ecological art, of which he became one of the global pioneers in the 1980s. The artist will also discuss his archive and collection, which he donated to the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw in 2023.
