The author, cycling, says the following text:
The traditional film or TV narration consists, generally speaking, in a combination of larger or smaller fragments of recorded or broadcast events into one time course based on a linear consequence.
The opposite of this approach is a message treated as pure unscripted recording or broadcast. Let us assume that there is yet another possible scheme that goes beyond the capabilities of the other two, which we shall call SPATIAL BROADCAST.
Here is the premise:
- I am restricting the transmission area to the studio although an infinite expansion of the area is possible
- I am resticting the numer of transmission channels to three, although this number may be infinite
- I am restricting the number of characters, although this number may be infinite
- I am resticting broadcasting time, although this time may be infinite ...
Spatial Broadcast is one of the possible realizations of the idea contained in the article On space Narration (O narracji przestrzennej).
