Dry Standpipe is a film comprising several abstract compositions created with the use of the artist’s private recordings produced over the past few years with an analogue movie camera. The soundtracks of individual films overlap; we can also hear the author read his own poetry. The artist used individual texts as entry points for each sequence in the film. The resulting image-text relation is simultaneously technical and poetic.
