With the flavour of an amateur movie, this work by Azorro documents the artists’ search for “the best gallery in Berlin”. They approach passers-by, railway station staff and museum personnel asking for directions. Every person – not being absolutely sure what the artists want – shows them a different way.
The light-hearted form of Azorro’s projects counters the approach of Polish critical art of the previous decade. The act of asking random people the above mentioned question manifests the ambiguity and variety of people's views on contemporary art, and points at the impact of galleries operating the circulation of works and defining the position of artists on the market.
