Artur Żmijewski

Artur Żmijewski(b. 1966) is a Polish artist currently based in Warsaw and Berlin.

Auditorium Moscow will show Artur Żmijewski’s well-known multi-monitor installation Democracies, which continues the project of mapping a polyphonic and even chaotic image of political mass movements today. A screening will also present Żmijewski’s film They (2010), which documents a provocative social experiment by the artist in which he held a series of workshops together with representative of the ultra-right and the ultra-left in contemporary Poland.
