Trembling World

Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites the public to the series of listening sessions "Trembling World".

This series of listening sessions organized by the Department of Presence, is dedicated to exploring the potential of sound as a tool for analysing, observing, sensing and feeling the climate catastrophe.

Can cautious listening help us to attune our bodies, senses, emotions and minds to the changes happening on a planetary scale? What can we learn from the sounds of melting glaciers, drowning islands and animals dying out; recordings of life on the bottom of the ocean and in the depths of the forest or the usually inaudible tones generated by electricity, sea currents, radiation, earthquakes and geological processes?
